Take part in our maternity photography project and empower mums-to-be
First of all, thank you for taking the time to visit my research page. Time and again I speak with mums-to-be who lack the confidence to photograph their changing bodies, but then regret not having a record of the time that they carried their child(ren). Maternity photographs are the very first pictures of your baby, and I feel it’s a shame that some families miss out on recording these special months. I really want to support and empower women to feel proud of what they are achieving.
What is this all about.
To make our maternity photography service as accessible as possible, I am asking mums and mums-to-be what their biggest fears were (or are), and why they did not (or do not) want to have professional photographs taken of themselves during pregnancy.
As part of this project, I’m inviting expectant mothers – who have up until now felt maternity photography isn’t for them – into the studio for a complimentary session. You will be photographed and also receive beautiful photos to treasure forever. The goal is to really understand how we can help women to feel confident in front of the camera.
My goal is to bring all of this information together and to tell a positive, empowering story. I know it sounds challenging, but I have worked in maternity photography for over 6 years, and I strongly believe that women and their families should have the chance to capture this special time – and to feel good about doing so.
Who can participate.
Ideally mums-to-be or women who already have children and can remember how they felt while pregnant.
